1. (a) When discharge is initiated by the center, the center will give oral and written notification to the client or responsible party, or both, at least 30 days in advance of the impending discharge.
2. (b) A client who experiences a sudden change in the level of functioning which, as determined by the center, poses a threat to the client or others may be discharged from the center immediately.
