- (a) A certificate holder may offer to players a variation of Super Sic Bo entitled Lightning Dice. Lightning Dice shall be played consistently with § 625b.1 (relating to Super Sic Bo), unless otherwise provided in this section.
(b) In addition to the layout requirements of § 625a.1 (relating to Sic Bo table; Sic Bo shaker; physical characteristics), the layout must include all of the following:
- (1) Specific areas designated for the placement of all wagers authorized under subsection (e).
- (2) A method of showing which wagers a multiplier is applied to, and the resulting payout odds of the wager, under subsection (g).
- (3) A Lightning Dice tower, as outlined in subsection (c).
(c) Lightning Dice shall use a Lightning Dice tower, in lieu of an automated dice shaker, to determine dice outcomes in a randomized fashion. The Lightning Dice tower shall consist of the following:
- (1) A compartment at the top, in which the dice are placed and shall remain until the dice are dropped.
- (2) A lever, button or other means by which the dealer shall initiate the dice drop.
- (3) An enclosed, transparent tower body, which shall contain ramps, bumpers, rods or other obstacles against which the falling dice shall make contact and thereby deflect and tumble before coming to rest.
- (4) A tray at the bottom of the tower, in which the dice shall come to rest.
(d) A round of Lightning Dice shall proceed according to the following:
- (1) Players may place any of the wagers authorized under subsection (e) prior to the time allotted for placing wagers having expired.
- (2) The random number generator shall be activated to reveal between two and four Lucky Numbers, which shall indicate which bets have been selected for enhanced payout odds. The enhanced payout odds shall be displayed for the given betting positions.
- (3) The dealer shall trigger the release of the dice through the top of the Lightning Dice tower, enabling the dice to tumble towards the bottom of the Lightning Dice tower.
- (4) The dice shall come to rest in the tray at the bottom of the Lightning Dice tower, revealing the outcome.
- (5) In the event that all three dice fail to land flat on the bottom, the dealer shall call ‘‘no roll’’ and all wagers placed shall be returned to the players.
- (6) A player’s wagers shall be settled before the dice may be removed from the tray at the bottom of the tower and placed in the compartment at the top, ready for the next round of play.
(e) Lightning Dice wagers shall include the following wager options:
- (1) A low bet, which is the small bet under § 625a.3(6) (relating to wagers).
- (2) A high bet, which is the big bet under § 625a.3(7).
- (3) Any double bet, which wins if the same number is showing on two of the three dice.
- (4) Any triple bet, which wins if the same number is showing on all three dice.
- (5) A total value bet under § 625a.3(4).
(f) The certificate holder shall pay out winning Super Sic Bo wagers at odds no lower than the following base paytable:

| Total value bet of 13 | 6 to 1 |
| Total value bet of 14 | 9 to 1 |
| Total value bet of 15 | 14 to 1 |
| Total value bet of 16 | 24 to 1 |
| Total value bet of 17 | 49 to 1 |
| Total value bet of 18 | 149 to 1 |
(g) Lightning Dice Lucky Numbers multipliers shall be handled in accordance with the following:
- (1) After ‘‘no more bets’’ is announced under § 625a.5(c) (relating to procedures for opening and dealing the game), but before the winning wager is established, a randomly generated multiplier may be applied between two and four of the betting positions.
- (2) If no Lucky Numbers multiplier is applied to a given betting position, the payout for a winning wager shall be paid according to the paytable in subsection (f).
(3) If a Lucky Numbers multiplier is applied, the payout odds shall fall within the following ranges:
