- (a) A certificate holder may, if specified in its Rules Submission under § 601a.2 (relating to table games Rules Submissions), offer to players a game variation entitled Diamond Rush Roulette, where each player who places and wins an inside wager in Roulette has the ability to win an increased payout based upon the results of a combination of a random number generator and bonus game round. If the certificate holder is offering Diamond Rush Roulette, it must be played on a single zero Roulette wheel as described in § 617a.1(c) (relating to Roulette ball; Roulette wheel and table; physical characteristics; double zero Roulette wheel used as a single zero Roulette wheel).
- (b) Except as provided in this section, Diamond Rush Roulette shall follow the rules and procedures for Roulette played on a single zero wheel, in accordance with Chapter 617a (relating to Roulette).
- (c) The layout for a Diamond Rush Roulette table shall be submitted to the Bureau of Gaming Operations for approval in accordance with § 601a.10(a) (relating to approval of table game layouts, signage and equipment). A Diamond Rush Roulette table shall have in place a board-approved random number generator that determines the Lucky Numbers and the specific payout that will be applied to each Lucky Number and determines a Bonus Number.
- (d) A player may place wagers before each Roulette spin at any time before the croupier calls ‘‘no more bets’’ in accordance with § 617a.5 (relating to rotation of wheel and ball).
- (e) After all wagers have been placed, the random number generator shall be initiated and will select 1, 3, 5 or 10 numbers on the layout that are the Lucky Numbers and one Bonus Number. The Lucky Numbers will be illuminated and indicate the enhanced payout odds.
(f) If the Roulette ball comes to rest in one of the Lucky Numbers and a player has placed an inside wager on that number, the winning inside wager shall be paid according to the random number generator outcome selected as part of subsection (e). The payout ranges are as follows:

- (g) If the Roulette ball comes to rest in the Bonus Number and a player has placed an inside wager on that number, the winning inside wager shall be paid based upon the outcome of the bonus game.
(h) The bonus game shall consist of six rounds of players making a selection among five boxes to reveal the hidden Bonus Game multiplier or an ‘‘X’’ to signify the player has lost. The multiplier values and placement of the multipliers and ‘‘X’’ shall be determined through the use of a random number generator.
- (1) In round 1, all five boxes shall contain a multiplier.
- (2) In round 2, four boxes shall contain a multiplier, and one shall contain an ‘‘X.’’
- (3) In round 3, three boxes shall contain a multiplier, and two shall contain an ‘‘X.’’
- (4) In rounds 4 and 5, two boxes shall contain a multiplier, and three shall contain an ‘‘X.’’
- (5) In round 6, one box shall contain a multiplier and four shall contain an ‘‘X.’’
(i) To begin each round of the bonus game, a countdown timer shows how long a player has remaining to select a box or cash out, as provided in subsection (j).
- (1) If a player fails to make a selection before time runs out in round 1 or 2, a random box selection will be made on their behalf.
(2) If a player fails to make a selection before time runs out in a subsequent round, the bonus game shall proceed based upon the action selected by the player as part of initial gameplay configuration sections the following apply:
- (i) The bonus game time expiration default shall be set to cash out, in line with subsection (j), unless the player elects to set random selection under subparagraph (ii).
- (ii) The player may set their bonus game time expiration default to make a random selection in line with paragraph (1).
- (j) Following round 2, players may elect to cash out rather than making a box selection. The player’s winning payout odds will be determined by adding together their selected multipliers from all rounds prior to cashing out.
- (k) Whenever a box selection reveals an ‘‘X,’’ the player has lost the bonus game and will be paid based upon their round 1 selected multiplier.
(l) The bonus game payout ranges are as follows:

- (m) As used in this section, the term ‘‘inside wager’’ shall mean a Straight wager, a Split wager, a Three Numbers wager (also known as a Street wager), a Four Numbers wager (also known as a Corner wager) or a Six Numbers wager, as provided under § 617a.3(e)(1)—(5) (relating to placement of wagers).
