1. (a) In case of an emergency, serious illness or injury, the unplanned termination, or the death or impending death of a client, the Director or the Director’s designee shall notify as soon as possible but within 24 hours:

   1. (1) The person or persons designated by the client to be notified in such a case.
   2. (2) Any case management/treatment agency responsible for the client.
2. (b) These notifications are subject to § 5310.52 (relating to confiden- tiality).
