1. (a) Cleaning materials and other toxic materials shall be kept in an area or container that is locked or made inaccessible to children.
2. (b) Cleaning materials and other toxic materials shall be stored in an original labeled container or in a container that specifies the content. Toxics shall be stored away from food, food preparation areas and child care spaces.
3. (c) Cleaning materials and other toxic materials shall be used in a way that does not contaminate play surfaces, food, food preparation areas and does not constitute a hazard to the children.
4. (d) Toxic plants are not permitted in a child care space.
5. (e) Arts and crafts materials shall be nontoxic.
