1. (a) Presiding officers will perform no duties inconsistent with the act, the rules of the Commission, or with their duties and responsibilities.
2. (b) Except as required for the disposition of ex parte matters not prohibited by the act, no presiding officer will consult a person or party on a fact in issue unless upon notice and opportunity for all parties to participate.
3. (c) Subsections (a) and (b) are identical to 1 Pa. Code § 35.188 (relating to restrictions on duties and activities).
