To qualify as a supervisor, an individual shall meet one of the following criteria:

1. (1) Hold a license as a clinical social worker and have 5 years of experience within the last 10 years as a clinical social worker.
2. (2) Hold a license and a master’s or doctoral degree in a related field, and have 5 years experience within the last 10 years in that field.

3. (3) Until January 1, 2006, the following criteria:

   1. (i) Practices as a clinical social worker.
   2. (ii) Have 5 years experience within the last 10 years as a clinical social worker.
   3. (iii) Hold a license to practice as a social worker in this Commonwealth.
