An applicant for a pharmacy technician trainee registration shall meet all of the following requirements:

1. (1) Be at least 16 years of age.
2. (2) Submit to a criminal history record check.
3. (3) Complete at least 3 hours of approved training in child abuse recognition and reporting as required under 23 Pa.C.S. § 6383(b)(3)(i) (relating to education and training).
