49 Pa. Code § 21.1201
(b) The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
DMU—The Disciplinary Monitoring Unit of PHMP.
Existing Pennsylvania license—An RN or LPN license issued by the State Board of Nursing prior to the implementation of the NLC.
Existing Pennsylvania licensee—The holder of an existing Pennsylvania license.
LPN—A licensed practical nurse.
NLC—The Nurse Licensure Compact enacted into law and entered into by the Commonwealth under the NLCA.
NLC Rules—The Final Rules of the Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators implementing the NLC. The NLC Rules may be accessed at www.nursecompact.com.
NLCA—The Nurse Licensure Compact Act (35 P.S. § § 10291—10295).
PERC—The Practice, Education, Remediation, and Collaboration Program.
PHMP—The Professional Health Monitoring Program.
RN—A registered nurse.
VRP—The Voluntary Recovery Program of PHMP.
