1. (a) Major curriculum changes that require Board approval include:

   1. (1) Alteration of the program philosophy, purposes and objectives which influences or affects the integration of material into the total curriculum, such as changes in course content or instruction, shifting content, changing course placement, adding or deleting courses, changing the length of a course or the program and changing the allotment.
   2. (2) Reorganization of the entire curriculum.
   3. (3) Changes in clinical facilities involving contractual agreements.

2. (b) When a program change is contemplated, a plan shall be presented to the Board showing:

   1. (1) Rationale for the change.
   2. (2) Present program.
   3. (3) Proposed changed program.
   4. (4) Philosophy and objectives of the proposed program.
   5. (5) Old and new master rotation or organizational curriculum plans.
   6. (6) The school bulletin and other pertinent information.
3. (c) Fifteen copies of the materials listed in subsection (b) shall be submitted to the Board at least 3 weeks prior to the Board meetings at which the matters are considered.
