1. (a) An out-of-State landscape architect may obtain approval from the Board to practice landscape architecture in this Commonwealth for a period not exceeding 30 days in the aggregate in 1 calendar year by submitting proof that:

   1. (1) The principal place of business is located outside of this Commonwealth.
   2. (2) The landscape architect is legally qualified to engage in the practice of landscape architecture in the jurisdiction where the principal place of business is located.
   3. (3) The standards for authority to practice landscape architecture in that jurisdiction are at least equal to those of the Commonwealth.
2. (b) Failure to comply with this section constitutes a violation of section 11 of the act (63 P. S. § 911) which imposes sanctions on persons who practice landscape architecture without being properly licensed.
