SUPPLIES AND PURCHASES

The Department of General Services contracts for custodial supplies for State agencies. These custodial supplies are obtained by the local board in the following manner:

1. (1) In May of each year the State Board sends to the local board the supply forms to be used in ordering custodial supplies for the coming fiscal year.
2. (2) These forms are completed by the local board, indicating the amount of supplies required for the year, and returned to the State Board not later than July 1.
3. (3) The State Board orders these supplies in bulk for armories and stocks the supplies at Fort Indiantown Gap.
4. (4) Supplies are picked up at Fort Indiantown Gap by local board personnel, as the supplies are required.
