MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS

Manual fire alarm systems shall be provided as follows:

1. (1) Facilities more than two stories in height shall have a manual fire alarm system.
2. (2) Buildings with more than 10,000 square feet of gross building area, exterior dimensions, shall have a manual fire alarm system. Areas of basements without permanent occupancy may not be included in the gross building calculation.
