INPATIENT HOSPITAL ACTIVITIES—TREATMENTAND REHABILITATION

1. (a) The service director shall develop a written plan providing for admission which shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

   1. (1) Criteria for admission.
   2. (2) Treatment models utilized by the service.
   3. (3) Requirements for completion of treatment.
   4. (4) Involuntary discharge/termination criteria.

2. (b) Admission procedures shall include documentation of the following:

   1. (1) Disclosure to the patient of criteria for admission, treatment, completion, and discharge.

   2. (2) Patient orientation to the service which shall include, but not be limited to, a familiarization with the following:

      1. (i) Service policies.
      2. (ii) Services provided.
   3. (3) Initial treatment and rehabilitation plan.
