SANCTIONS

1. (a) When appropriate, the Department will work with the health care facility to rectify a violation of this part.

2. (b) A health care facility that violates this part may be subject to sanctions by the Department, which include:

   1. (1) Suspension of its license.
   2. (2) Revocation of its license.
   3. (3) Refusal to renew its license.
   4. (4) Limitation of its license as to operation of a portion of the health care facility or to the services which may be provided at the health care facility.
   5. (5) Issuance of a provisional license.
   6. (6) Submission of a plan of correction.
   7. (7) Limitation or suspension of admissions to the health care facility.
3. (c) A person who violates this part may be subject to a civil penalty, not to exceed $500 per day.
