1. (a) Within 7-calendar days following the day when the testing laboratory obtains the normal test results, the testing laboratory shall send those results to the health care provider that collected the specimen from the newborn child.
2. (b) The health care provider to whom the normal test results are reported shall record the test results in the medical record of the newborn child.
