CORRECTION OF RECORDS

1. (a) Certificates corrected without a court order shall be marked ‘‘corrected.’’
2. (b) The Division of Vital Records may require additional evidence to substantiate a correction when it is deemed necessary and proper to preserve the integrity of the records.
3. (c) No correction may be made except in accordance with this chapter.
