SAFETY AND OPERATIONS

1. (a) The operator shall establish an accident prevention and safety plan sufficient to protect employes at the facility and patrons of the facility.

2. (b) The accident prevention and safety plan shall be distributed as follows:

   1. (1) An employe safety handbook shall be issued to each employe.
   2. (2) Special operating procedures for potentially dangerous activities shall be issued to each employe and shall be posted in the relevant operating area.
   3. (3) Ongoing safety programs shall be conducted.
   4. (4) Emergency telephone numbers and basic first aid procedures shall be posted throughout the facility.
3. (c) The operator shall comply with applicable State or Federal laws pertaining to occupational safety and shall also implement the operation, safety and maintenance procedures recommended by the designers or manufacturers of equipment at the facility.
4. (d) The facility shall be ventilated in a manner consistent with § 297.218 (relating to air resources protection).
