PERMIT REVIEWS, RENEWALS, REVISIONS AND TRANSFERS

1. (a) The Department will review each permit issued and outstanding during the term of the permit. This review shall occur at the discretion of the Department during the permit term except as required by § 87.175 (relating to variance to contouring). For permits of longer than 5-year terms, a review of the permit shall be no less frequent than the permit midterm or every 5 years, whichever is more frequent.
2. (b) After this review, the Department may require revision or modification of the permit provision to ensure compliance with the act and the regulations.
