As used in ORS 746.213 to 746.219:

1. (1) “Affiliate” means any company that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with another company.
2. (2) “Customer” means an individual who purchases, applies to purchase or is solicited to purchase insurance products primarily for personal, family or household purposes.
3. (3) “Depository institution” means a financial institution as that term is defined in ORS 706.008.
