- (1) A person engaged in the business of freezing or making frozen desserts and then selling those frozen desserts at wholesale must obtain a license to carry on that business from the State Department of Agriculture as provided in this section. The person must obtain a separate license for each wholesale establishment operated by the person.
- (2) Upon payment to the department of a license fee of $60, the department may issue a license to any applicant to make or freeze frozen desserts and then sell those frozen desserts at wholesale.
- (3) The license shall expire on June 30 next following the date of its issuance or on such date as may be specified by department rule. A license is personal to the applicant and is not transferable.
