1. (1) Persons licensed by the division for the business of installing, repairing or altering boilers, pressure vessels or pressure piping must correct any condition or deficiency resulting from installations, repairs or alterations, which are determined by any deputy, special inspector or process piping inspector to be a violation of the minimum safety standards of the Oregon Boiler and Pressure Vessel Specialty Code.
2. (2) Contractors must prepare and submit any documentation required by construction codes, repair and alteration standards or the authority having jurisdiction.

3. (3) Boiler contractors are directly responsible for assuring that all persons they employ have correct certification and are properly supervised in the installation, repair or alteration of boilers, pressure vessels or pressure piping systems. Supervisors of persons holding a Class 1 or Class 6 certification must meet the requirements of OAR 918-225-0691.
