The provisions of ORS 653.305 to 653.370 and OAR 839-021-0001 to 839-021-0500 do not apply to employers employing minors in the following work or occupations:

1. (1) Domestic work or chores in or about a private residence.
2. (2) Newspaper carrier.
3. (3) Newspaper vendor.
4. (4) Persons under 18 years of age serving as a referee or assistant referee in a youth or adult recreational soccer match.
