1. (1) An eligible employee need not be eligible for protected leave under the Oregon Family Leave Act (“OFLA”) in order to take protected leave under the Oregon Military Family Leave Act (“OMFLA”).
2. (2) Protected leave taken by an eligible employee under OMFLA may be included in the total amount of leave authorized under ORS 659A.162(1) of OFLA if the employee is also eligible for OFLA leave and has any leave entitlement remaining.
