1. (1) The Department of the State Fire Marshal may provide an opportunity for an informal conference.

2. (2) A request for an informal conference may be made verbally or in writing; and:

   1. (a) Be made or addressed to the Department of the State Fire Marshal; and
   2. (b) Clearly state the issue or issues to be discussed.
3. (3) If the Department of the State Fire Marshal and the party agrees, an informal conference may be held by telephone.
4. (4) After an informal conference, the Department of the State Fire Marshal may amend, withdraw, or reduce the suspension, revocation or denial in accordance with ORS chapter 183 and the rules adopted thereto.
