1. (1) The conventional exam will consist of the following sections:

   1. (a) Laws, Rules and Business Practice
   2. (b) Plants and Turf;
   3. (c) Design, Grading and Drainage;
   4. (d) Hardscaping;
   5. (e) Irrigation Systems; and
   6. (f) Backflow installation of irrigation and ornamental water feature backflow assemblies.

2. (2) The LCB Prep Course & Exam will consist of the following modules:

   1. (a) Laws, Rules and Business Practice
   2. (b) Plants and Turf;
   3. (c) Design, Grading and Drainage; and
   4. (d) Hardscaping.
3. (3) To obtain an All Phase plus Backflow License, the applicant must successfully pass the Laws, Rules and Business Practice, Plants and Turf, Design, Grading and Drainage, Hardscaping, Irrigation and Backflow sections.
4. (4) To obtain a Standard license, the applicant must successfully pass the Laws, Rules and Business Practice, Plants and Turf, Design, Grading and Drainage, and Hardscaping sections, including a combination of conventional exam sections and LCB Prep Course & Exam modules.
5. (5) To obtain an Irrigation license, the applicant must successfully pass the Laws, Rules and Business Practice, Irrigation and Backflow sections.
6. (6) To obtain a Planting license the applicant must successfully pass the Laws, Rules and Business Practice, Plants and Turf, and Design, Grading and Drainage sections.
7. (7) To obtain a Probationary All Phase plus Backflow License, the applicant must successfully pass the Laws, Rules and Business Practice, Plants and Turf, Design, Grading and Drainage, Hardscaping, Irrigation and Backflow Prevention sections within 12 months after the first sitting of any section of the examination, including a combination of conventional exam seactions and LCB Prep Course & Exam modules.
8. (8) To obtain a Modified License the applicant must successfully pass the Laws, Rules and Business Practices section.
