1. (1) Registered Vehicle Trip Permits may not be purchased in those situations where:

   1. (a) The vehicle is currently registered; and
   2. (b) The registration is of a type where the owner is required to certify (under penalty) that the vehicle will not be used for purposes not allowed under the registration type.

2. (2) Examples of those situations where Registered Vehicle Trip Permits may not be purchased include:

   1. (a) Vehicles currently registered under farm registration under ORS 805.300; and
   2. (b) Vehicles currently registered under proportional farm registration under ORS 805.400.
