1. (1) Variance permits are required for non-divisible loads that exceed legal length specified in ORS Chapter 818.
2. (2) Overlength permits will not be valid if overlength is caused by multiple items placed end to end, or overlapping unless specifically stated on the permit as authorized by statute or rule.
3. (3) Items joined (by spot weld, tack weld, bolting, strapping, etc.) to facilitate transport, shall be considered to be divisible loads and not eligible for overlength permits.
