1. (1) The District Manager may cancel a Bicycle Race Permit or Permit issued a special event for any reason, including, but not limited to, weather conditions, safety considerations, in emergencies (i.e., fire, accidents) or failure of the applicant to comply with the terms of the permit. Cancellation shall be issued in writing, except as provided in section (2) of this rule. Such cancellation may be cause to deny future Bicycle Race Permits or Permits for special events to the applicant.
2. (2) Cancellation may be verbal and shall be followed by written confirmation of the verbal cancellation.
