- (1) The purpose of these administrative rules is to establish standards for Oregon's historical marker signs erected within the Conventional Highway right-of-way and on other publicly accessible property to provide the traveling public with signing of historic or geological points of interest.
- (2) These administrative rules are applicable to the Conventional Highway system, the Interstate Highway rest areas, and other publicly accessible property with the approval of the local jurisdiction or landowner.
- (3) The authority for the issuance of these administrative rules is ORS 377.787.
