1. (1) Cancellation in the Public Interest. ODOT may cancel a Solicitation for good cause if ODOT finds that cancellation is in the public interest. ODOT's reasons for cancellation shall be made part of the solicitation file.

2. (2) Notice of Cancellation. If ODOT cancels a solicitation prior to Opening, ODOT shall provide notice of cancellation. Such notice of cancellation shall:

   1. (a) Identify the Solicitation; and
   2. (b) If appropriate, explain that an opportunity will be given to compete on any re-solicitation.
