1. (1) Whenever a proposed project is located within one of the following designated resource areas, the Department shall provide notice of the application to the managing agency:

   1. (a) National parks;
   2. (b) National monuments;
   3. (c) Wilderness areas established by federal law;
   4. (d) Bureau of Land Management areas of critical environmental concern established under federal law;
   5. (e) Wild and scenic rivers established by federal law;
   6. (f) Estuarine sanctuaries established under Public Law 92-583;
   7. (g) Federal research natural areas established under federal regulation;
   8. (h) State parks and waysides;
   9. (i) Scenic waterways designated under ORS Chapter 390;
   10. (j) State wildlife refuges; or
   11. (k) State dedicated natural heritage areas established under ORS Chapter 273.
