Governing bodies shall provide the following types of notice:

1. (1) Notice of all applications for dwellings and land divisions in forest and agriculture/forest zones shall be provided to the Department of Land Conservation and Development at the Salem office. Notice shall be in accordance with the governing body's acknowledged comprehensive plan and land use regulations, and shall be mailed at least 10 calendar days prior to the hearing or decision being made.
2. (2) Notice of proposed actions described in section (1) of this rule shall be provided as required by procedures for notice contained in ORS 197.763 and 215.402 to 215.438.
3. (3) The provisions of sections (1) and (2) of this rule are repealed on September 6, 1995.
