- (1) The primary objective of the Wildlife Habitat Conservation and Management Program is to preserve, enhance or improve the composition, structure or function of habitat for native wildlife species.
- (2) To enroll in the Program, properties must support native habitats of conservation concern. Based on Department priorities such as the Oregon Conservation Strategy, the Department will maintain a list of native habitats of conservation concern in each Watershed District in which at least one county is enrolled in the Program.
