All big game tag holders, except for bighorn sheep and Rocky Mountain goat, and all turkey tag holders are required to report hunting effort and harvest.

1. (1) Reporting deadlines for 2024-2025 seasons are as follows:

   1. (a) January 31, 2025: For hunts ending between April 1 and December 31, 2024.
   2. (b) April 15, 2025: For hunts ending between January 1 and March 31, 2025.

2. (2) Any person with any deer or elk tag for hunts and seasons listed in the 2025 Oregon Big Game Regulations pamphlet, issued through the Electronic Licensing System, that fails to report by deadlines established in OAR 635-065-0011(1) will not be able to obtain a license to hunt game mammals or game birds in Oregon without paying a penalty.

   1. (a) The penalty will be assessed beginning December 1, 2025 with purchase of a 2026 license.
   2. (b) The penalty fee amount is $25.
