1. (1) These Rules guide the operation and project selection of cooperative salmon hatchery projects.

2. (2) The purpose of these rules is to describe policies, standards, and procedures concerning:

   1. (a) Application for cooperative salmon hatchery projects;
   2. (b) Evaluation of applications for cooperative salmon hatchery projects;
   3. (c) Operation of cooperative salmon hatchery projects, including changes in operation and termination;
   4. (d) Monitoring and evaluation of cooperative salmon hatchery projects;
   5. (e) Disposal of fish and fish products produced by cooperative salmon hatchery projects;
   6. (f) Duties and responsibilities of cooperators in cooperative salmon hatchery projects;
   7. (g) Effects on native fish populations of the project.
