1. (1) It is unlawful to take for commercial purposes, the following from Marine Management Areas described in the “Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations:”

   1. (a) Shellfish and invertebrates in designated Marine Gardens;
   2. (b) Shellfish and invertebrates in designated Marine Research Areas.

   3. (c) Fish, shellfish and invertebrates in designated Marine Conservation Areas, except:

      1. (A) In the Ecola Point Marine Conservation Area, fish may be taken.
      2. (B) In the Cape Lookout Marine Conservation, fish may be taken, and shellfish or invertebrates may be taken from subtidal areas.
      3. (C) In the Fogarty Creek Marine Conservation Area, fish may be taken from shore.
   4. (d) Fish, shellfish and invertebrates from 1000 feet around and including Pyramid Rock from May 1 through August 31.

2. (2) The following areas have additional closures and prohibitions as specified in ORS Chapter 511, and fishers should consult these regulations before fishing in these areas:

   1. (a) Coastal Streams Areas;
   2. (b) Columbia River Area;
   3. (c) Rogue River Area;
   4. (d) Curry County Area;
   5. (e) Coos, Douglas and Lane County Areas;
   6. (f) Nestucca, Netarts and Tillamook Bay Areas; and
   7. (g) Willamette River Area.
3. (3) Marine Reserves and Marine Protected Areas within Oregon’s Territorial Sea have been established and fishers should consult regulations in OAR Division 012 regarding fishing and transit restrictions.
