1. (1) Safety Instructions:

   1. (a) Prior to departure the driver shall instruct passengers on the operation and location of all emergency exits;

   2. (b) Driver shall instruct students to:

      1. (A) Keep hand and head inside the vehicle at all times;
      2. (B) Keep aisle clear;
      3. (C) Use caution when opening the overhead compartments;
      4. (D) Use seat belts if equipped; and
      5. (E) Keep emergency exits clear.

2. (2) Drivers shall:

   1. (a) Notify ODE within 30 days of a change of name, address or employer. A duplicate certificate will be issued if necessary;
   2. (b) Not exceed speed limits as required for school activity vehicles in ORS 811.111; and
   3. (c) Not use a cellular telephone, with or without a hands free device, while driving a SPAB vehicle unless summoning medical or other emergency help if no other person in the vehicle is capable of summoning help.
