1. (1) The Mentoring, Monitoring, Acceleration Grant is established as part of the Guidance and Support for Post-Secondary Aspirations Strategic Investment.

2. (2) The purposes of the grant is to:

   1. (a) Extend or expand a students’ ability to achieve a “C” or higher within the current academic year in all core subjects;
   2. (b) Increase the academic achievement for underserved and at-risk students in addition to the cultural competence within academic communities; and
   3. (c) Create, expand or replicate programs that achieve the purposes of the grant.
