To receive financial aid from this program an applicant must:

1. (1) Be an Oregon resident and a veteran as defined by the Commission in OAR 575-080-0000;
2. (2) Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment at an Oregon public postsecondary institution; and
3. (3) Demonstrate academic achievement, ability, and motivation related to the practice of teaching in the designated areas.
