Except as provided in OAR 438-012-0050, within a reasonable time after receipt of the insurer’s recommendation and supporting evidence and any additional evidence and argument from the claimant the Board may:

1. (1) Issue its order based upon the evidence and argument submitted by the parties;
2. (2) Request additional evidence from one or more of the parties; or
3. (3) Refer the matter to the Hearings Division for an evidentiary hearing and recommended findings of fact and conclusions.
