General lighting.

1. (1) Provide adequate general and local lighting in rooms, buildings and work areas.

2. (2) Methods for determining the adequacy and effectiveness of lighting include:

   1. (a) Measure the quantity of light against requirements in the American National Standard ANSI A11.1-1965, “American Standard Practice for Industrial Lighting.”

   2. (b) The quality of light as to freedom from glare and correct direction, diffusion and distribution.
