1. (1) Construction employers with a NAICS code of 23 must comply with Division 2/Z Silica by July 1, 2018.

2. (2) All other employers must comply with Division 2/Z Silica by July 1, 2018, except as provided for below:

   1. (a) For all employees exposed to respirable crystalline silica above the PEL for 30 days or more per year, you must comply with the medical surveillance requirements in 437-002-1062 by July 1, 2018.
   2. (b) For all employees exposed to respirable crystalline silica above the action level for 30 or more days per year, you must comply with the medical surveillance requirements in 437-002-1062 by July 1, 2020.
