When the insurer cancels coverage before the expiration of the policy term, the insurer must:

1. (1) Provide written notice to the employer under ORS 656.427(1) and (3);
2. (2) Retain a record of the written notice sent to the employer under ORS 656.427, and proof of mailing of that notice, for inspection by the division; and
3. (3) Provide notice to the director under ORS 656.427 by EDI.
