The resource parent must comply with all of the following requirements related to the care of a child in the care or custody of the Department placed in the home.

1. (1) Work cooperatively with the Department, to support the case plan and meet the needs of the child in the care or custody of the Department placed with the resource parent including, but not limited to:

   1. (a) Health, dental, and mental health care;
   2. (b) Intellectual, emotional, social, and recreational needs, including participation in extracurricular, enrichment, cultural, and social activities;
   3. (c) Continued contact or connection with family members, siblings, relatives and others with whom the child has developed an emotional attachment; and
   4. (d) Adequate clothing that is age-appropriate and meets the cultural and gender identity and gender expression of the child.
2. (2) Include the child in the care or custody of the Department placed with the resource parent as part of the resource parent household.
3. (3) Assure that, when a child in the care or custody of the Department leaves the resource parent, the belongings, both those brought with the child and those obtained while living in the home, remain with the child.

4. (4) When a child in the care or custody of the Department placed in the home is missing, immediately report to:

   1. (a) Law enforcement;
   2. (b) The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children; and
   3. (c) The Department.
5. (5) Not subject any child to abuse, as described in ORS 419B.005 and 418.257.
