The purpose of OAR 413-130-0300 to 413-130-0365 is to describe the responsibilities of the Adoption Search and Registry Program for adoptions that finalized in Oregon and the eligibility requirements that must be met in order to:

1. (1) Receive non-identifying information from the registry;
2. (2) Register to allow the release of identifying information; and
3. (3) Request an assisted search for certain members of an individual’s birth family or the county in which the adoption was finalized.
