The purpose of these rules, OAR 413-105-0000 to 413-105-0090, is to describe the activities required to:

1. (1) Ensure that regular education and special education services are provided to promote academic achievement of a child or young adult in the care and custody of the Department; and
2. (2) Ensure that public preschool education, early intervention education programs, and appropriate post-secondary education or training opportunities are explored for an eligible child or young adult in the care or custody of the Department.
