The purpose of OAR 413-010-0170 to 413-010-0185 is to:

1. (1) Describe the rights and protection each child and young adult in the legal custody of the Department is entitled to receive from the Department;
2. (2) Establish the Oregon Foster Children's Bill of Rights, as provided in ORS 418.200to 418.202; and
3. (3) Establish the Oregon Foster Children’s Sibling Bill of Rights, as provided in Oregon Laws 2017 chapter 36.
