1. (1) OAR 340-234-0500 through 340-234-0530 establish minimum performance and emission standards for veneer, plywood, particleboard, and hardboard manufacturing operations.
2. (2) Emission limitations established herein are in addition to, and not in lieu of, general emission standards for visible emissions, fuel burning equipment, and refuse burning equipment, except as provided for in OAR 340-234-0510.

3. (3) Each affected veneer, plywood, particleboard, and hardboard plant must proceed with a progressive and timely program of air pollution control. Each plant must, at the request of DEQ submit periodic reports in such form and frequency as directed to demonstrate the progress being made toward full compliance with OAR 340-234-0500 through 340-234-0530.

   NOTE: This rule is included in the State of Oregon Clean Air Act Implementation Plan that EQC adopted under OAR 340-200-0040.
