Or. Admin. R. 333-077-0000 – Applicability

(1) The purpose of OAR chapter 333, division 77 is to establish standards for the licensure of freestanding birthing centers to ensure the health and safety of individuals who receive services from these centers.
(2)
1. (a) A freestanding birthing center must comply with these rules.
2. (b) Until June 30, 2026, a birthing center licensed before November 3, 2025, is considered in compliance with these rules if it complies with OAR 333-076-0490 to OAR 333-076-0650 and OAR 333-077-0000 to OAR 333-077-0260 as those rules were in effect on November 2, 2025.
